- The European Parliament adopted by 485 votes to 31, with 113 abstentions, a resolution on the new EU urban mobility framework.Stressing that urban mobility is essential to people's quality of life and the functioning of the economy, Parliament believes that urban mobility in the EU must be based on smart, inclusive, healthy, affordable, competitive, sustainable, transparent and multimodal transport solutions , including rail, sustainable buses and coaches, car-sharing solutions and active mobility and micro-mobility.
